Lecture Hall

R.S.D. Academy is having spacious & well ventilated equipped with ultra modern facilities like LCD & OHP, comfortable seating, spacious rooms which can accommodate large number of students, well designed layout, naturally lit with proper ventilation, free from distractions which helps students in active learnings.

Library

Our library is fully enriched with all kinds of latest & update materials(books, journals, magazines, pocket books) required for better updating knowledge. The library is full of natural light, shelves are easy to reach, seating for collaboration and for independent work.

Computer Lab – including internet & Wi-fi facility

R.S.D. Academy is having well maintained computer lab updated with latest version of software including internet facility, along with wide doorway openings and clear fro aisles for wheelchair users. The lab is provided with ample, high – contrast, large – print directional signs along with study carrels and hearing protectors.

Transportation Facility

R.S.D Academy has arranged a pick and drop transportation facility to students within a radius of about 10 kms from adjoining areas of the city of Moradabad. The college also maintains ambulance for medical emergencies. In addition, assorted utility vehicles are at the disposal of department across campus. It presently maintains 3 buses, 3 vans in the campus.

Gymnasium

Practicing the adage that a fit mind is an active mind, R.S.D. Academy has a well equipped gymnasium with modern fitness equipment’s for students and staff.

Yoga & Fitness Classes

R.S.D. Academy has established a yoga meditation center for students under the guidance of expert trainers from yogapeeth. Faculty members and students also attend classes for physical fitness.

Judo Classes

R.S.D. Academy runs Judo programs which offer a safe and challenging environment in which each judoka can achieve his or her potential. In R.S.D Academy we teach students one of the distinguishing aspects of judo is how its basic values and principles translate into a way of life. What is learned on the mat through hard judo training transfers at home, at college, at work or at play.

Art & Craft Room

In R.S.D. Academy we encourage and enhance the artistic knowledge and skills of students through Art & Craft classes under the guidance of field experts. We at the R.S.D. campus nourishes and sharpens the students skills and take it to another level.

Medical Aid Facility

The college provides adequate first aid medical facilities to the students and staff at its parent hospital. R.S.D. Hospital has widely expanded various departments with a provision of multi specialty care with growing spectrum of disease and increasing demand of such facilities. The Hospital is the apex health institution and provides tertiary care to the entire population of Moradabad and adjoining districts besides imparting clinical training to the students. The Hospital has a bed strength of 150 beds. It houses the various clinical and para-clinical departments like Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynae & Obs, Radiology and Anaesthesia. It also has a well-developed Blood Bank and a Central lab for Pathology.

Cafeteria

Our well maintained canteens in the campus provide students, staff and visitors a high quality and hygiene food. There is a variety of cuisine according to the preference of students.

Industrial Visit & Fun Tour

Industrial visits are arranged by the institute to students we provide industrial visit with an objective of providing students practical knowledge regarding how to manufacture the goods, the work on the assembly lines, how to maintain inventory, making students understand necessity of plant layout and location, functional opportunity in different sectors like Manufacturing and services, marketing, banking and financial institutions. Industrial visit helps to combine theoretical knowledge with industrial knowledge. Alongside the industrial visits college also organizes fun trips to different places around the country and also international trips around the globe to provide the students a refreshment and better understanding of the cultural heritage of the particular place and also helps staff and students in understanding the history and cultural heritage of the place that is passed on to the people from generation to generation.

Sports

We can learn the value of the good health by the proverb I “A sound mind lies in a sound body.” Sports and fitness is an integral part of the Institute which provides a network of facilities, inducing opportunities for sports participation at all levels, and provides a chance to its students to take part in a wide range of sports pursuits. Services of the students of the institute are sought for various inter-college, district, state and national level tournaments as officials and referees in Volleyball, Tennis, Cricket, football, basketball, badminton, table – tennis, carom, chess, Marshal Arts etc. State-of- the-art sports facilities are available in the institute to ensure all round development of the students.

Auditorium

The institute has well furnished and well equipped auditorium with modern audio visual aid. It provides the students a platform to interact with experts from academia and business tycoon. The auditorium periodically hosts debates, cultural programs, theater and festivals organized by the students on campus and seminars, conferences, exhibitions organized in collaboration with corporates as well as competitions with universities and colleges across the country.

Cultural & Other Co-curricular Activities

Music and dance classes, in both modern and classical form, are organized for students keen on refining their creative potential under the guidance of eminent trainers. Facilities are also available for cultural activities which are arranged for students from time to time. Some events are as follows – Inter-department tournaments, exhibitions, fresher’s welcome and farewell, alumni meet, social and national festivals celebrations as per university norms.

Hostel

We call our hostels home for students. The hostels at R.S.D. are a home away from home. The onus of developing the student academically, strengthening their culture, taking care of their physical fitness, all lie on this vital micro structure of the institute. Life in R.S.D hostel is a stepping stone to further independence, an essential right for many, enabling them to reach out to their destiny. The R.S.D. has 2 hostels in its campus- 1 for boys and 1 for girls with a capacity to accommodate 40 students.
The hostel rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The rooms are available on sharing basis. To help the young minds focus on their studies, each room is furnished with beds, wardrobes, study tables, chairs and air-cooler. Solar heaters have been installed in all the hostels to supply hot water conserving electricity.
Water purifiers and water coolers are installed to provide potable water. Round the clock power back-up helps students to study without interruption. Air-conditioned rooms are also available to meet specific requirement of the students.
Laundry facility is available in-house with commercial washing machine and tumbler drier. A dedicated warden helps and resolve the problems of the boarders. Students are advised to comply with rules and regulations of the institute hostels. The faculty counsellors are associated with every hostel so as to mentor the students whenever they need. The buildings are aesthetically planned with ample open space and greenery thus providing conducive environment to the students for realizing their optimum potential.

Robotics lab

The inclusion of robotics studies in the institute curriculum is no longer a matter of debate. Students need exposure from an early age to be able to feel comfortable working around machines as the world is inevitably moving towards that future. However, robotics labs in R.S.D. is more than just a necessity. In fact, many teachers around the globe believe that they complement the present curriculum, help enhance STEM education and lead to other such benefits that aid students to effectively take their education forward.
