Promotion Criteria

For Class I to IX

Students must obtain the qualifying grade (Minimum grade) in all the subjects under scholastic & Co-Scholastic Domain

First Term: FA1(10%) + FA2(10%) + SA1(30%) = 50%

Second Term: FA3(10%) + FA4(10%) + SA2(30%) = 50%

Formative Assessment: FA1(10%) + FA2(10%) + FA3(10%) + FA4(10%) = 40%

Summative Assessment: SA1(30%) + SA2(30%) = 60%

Where 40% marks are compulsory to be secured out of the Aggregate of the whole year.

Class Nur. – K.G.: Promotion will be granted after discussion with the parents.

Class – 1 Onwards: 40% marks in each subject and in aggregate.

It is compulsory for students of VI to VIII to pass in third language Sanskrit, Computer Science, and S.U.P.W.


For Class XI

1. Monthly tests will be conducted in different subjects apart from the Half-Yearly and Annual Examinations. Six monthly tests will be conducted in May, July, August, September, December, and January. Half-Yearly examination in Oct/Nov and final exams in March.

2. Promotion is granted on the basis of whole year's performance of the student. Hence the importance of regularity in attendance, monthly tests, examinations, and assignments has to be maintained by the students.

3. The following general rules will be followed for granting promotion to students at the end of the academic year. The annual assessment will be as per the following criteria:

Monthly tests - 30%

Half yearly Exam - 25%

Internal Assessment - 5%

Annual Examination - 40%

Note: A child who fails twice in three years will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in school.
