School Rules

  • 1. Every student must carry his Almanac and Identity Card to school each day.
  • 2. A student should affix his/her photograph and write the required information, duly signed by mother & father, in the space provided for in the almanac.
  • 3. Student who come to school on their own should be done in orderly manner and silently.
  • 4. Changing of classroom between periods should be done in orderly manner and silently.
  • 5. Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions. Students who are slovenly dressed or not in uniform will be sent home.
  • 6. All boys (Except Sikhs) must keep their hair short. Girls must tie their hair neatly with a blue band.
  • 7. Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals. Sikh boys must wear turbans or a blue patka.
  • 8. No books (other than text books or library books), magazines or paper should be brought to the school.
  • 9. Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is strictly prohibited.
  • 10. Student who come to school escorted should never leave before the escort arrives. In case of delay, they should report to the school office.
  • 11. Parents and guardian may meet the teachers in the time specified.
  • 12. Student are not allowed to use the school telephone without the permission of the principal. They will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours.
  • 13. Student using the school bus will maintain discipline in the bus.
  • 14. The school insists on the following measurers to be observed by the members of staff and all student. Care must be taken to observe the "Green rules" in order to maintain clean, green surrounding. That is, school premises will not be littered with disposable tumblers, papers or polythene bags are brought to school grounds, Minimum use of polythene bags will be appreciated.
  • 15. Do not spoil or pluck flowers.
  • 16. Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes respect for school property and no student should damage any school furniture, Write or things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the principal.
  • 17. R.S.D. Academy students should observe polite standards wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences including rustication.
  • 18. Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments such as Knife etc. to the school, or any Kinds of object that can cause injury to others.
  • 19. Students are advised to keep their classroom, school building and campus as clean as possible, and throw leftovers into the dustbins.
  • 20. The School is not responsible for goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles ( like cash, expensive watches or fountain pens) to school.
  • 21. Fees can be paid by cheque/ draft/ cash within the stipulated time of Prathma Bank, Ram Ganga Vihar, Moradabad.
  • 22. No student shall indulge in any of the following practices, namely:
        • Writing anything on the shirt or uniform.
        • Spitting in or near the school building.
        • Smoking.
        • Any form of gambling
        • Use of drugs or intoxicants, except on prescription by a registered medical practitioner.
        • Rowdyism and rude behavior.
        • Use of violence in any form.
        • Castism, communalism or practice untouchability.
      • Bursting crackers or throwing colour on one another or painting faces within the school premises.
        • No student is permitted to bring a mobile telephone to the school.
  • 23. No student is allowed to visit any of the kiosks situated around the school, any one if found doing so. He will be subjected to regular punishment.
  • 24. Students indulging in aggressive or very violent behavior, will not be allowed to travel by school bus. They will be picked up and dropped to school by their parents.
  • 25. A vaccination record must be produced at the start of the year if the child is not completely immunised.
  • 26. The students should not unite with other students for violent, destructive activities else they will be subjected to punishment.
  • 27. The students will not instigate the other co-students or juniors to any misbehavior or any form of ant-school activity, which will bring disrepute to the school and could spoil the career of the concerned student.
  • 28. Students will not boycott the orders, directions and instructions given to them by the school authorities.
  • 29. Students will not use any unfair means in the examination to answer the examination paper.
  • 30. Use of unfair means during any of the monthly test or examination will get that student a zero in that monthly test/exam. He/she will not be asked to take a transfer certificate from the school or expelled from school.
  • 31. A medical certificate should be submit by the student if absent for any monthly test (FA EXAM) or Half- Yearly Exam (SA I EXAM) on or before the due date of test/exams. No medical leave can be availed in final Exam (SA II Exam) without the prior permission of the Principal.
  • 32. The student will not cooperate or indulge in any act of violence committed by the other student physically or mentally.
  • 33. The student will not do ant act which will disturb the principles and norms of school discipline.

 

Withdrawl

  • 1. If a child has to be withdrawn from school, parents are requested to give one calendar month's notice in writing, failing which, one month's fee will be charged in lieu there of.
  • 2. Those who leave the school in May must in all cases pay the fee for the month of June.
  • 3. Transfer certificated for children withdrawn are not issued until all dues are settled.
  • 4. Students can be asked to leave the school on the following grounds.
        • Disciplinary.
        • Unsatisfactory progress in work.
        • Detention or repeated detention in a class.
  • 5 A student who fails twice in the same class will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in the school.
  • 6. It a child has attended the school even for a single day and wishes to get transfer Certificate he/she has to pay the fee for Six months and if T.C. is required on or after 1st Oct.2014 wil have to pay the fee for next six months.

 

Attendance

  • 1. It is compulsory for all students to complete 75% attendance before every examination. In case attendance is short, students will not be eligible for promotion/any academic award.
  • 2. Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than ten consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls" readmission fee provided the vacancy still exists.
  • 3. All children are expected to attend school on the opening day after every vacation and must be present before closing for the vacation. Those absent because of sickness must present a medical certificate before they join the class.
  • 4. A child returning to school after suffering from an infections or contagious disease should produce a before returning to class.
        • Chicken pox- Till complete falling of scabs.
        • Cholera- Till the child is completely well.
        • Measles- Two weeks after the rash disappears.
        • Mumps- Until the swelling has gone.
        • Whooping Cough-Six Weeks.
        • Jaundice- Six Weeks.
